  • the minimum recommended daily requirement for water intake is 64oz. per day
  • water regulates body temperature

  • drinking water is a simple way to keep well hydrated and as a consequence, helps maintain concentration and alertness in adults
  • water helps sustain physical endurance
  • you may not feel as thirsty as you do when it’s hot outside, but even in cold weather your body becomes dehydrated through perspiration
